I'm a member of the NU community but registered with a non-NU email address. Am I still eligible for NU rates?

You are not eligible for NU rates unless you register using your NU email address. Please re-register with your NU email address and resend your proof of payment linked to that NU email address.

What is the purpose of the Bulldogs Run 2025?

The Bulldogs Run 2025 celebrates 125 years of National University and aims to raise PHP 1,000,000 in scholarships for deserving students, supporting education that works.

When and where will the event take place?

The 1st NU Bulldogs Run will happen on February 2, 2025. The activity area will be at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Assembly time will be at 430 AM. 

What is the significance of the 12.5 KM distance?

The 12.5 KM Anniversary Run is symbolic of National University’s 125-year legacy, offering a unique way to celebrate this milestone.

How do I register for the event?

    Fill out the form and agree to the terms and conditions.

  3. Send your proof of payment
    Submit your payment as instructed on the website and a notification email from event@national-u.edu.ph.

  4. Receive Pickup Details
    You will receive information on when and where to collect your race kit.

  5. Collect Your Race Kit
    Pick up your kit from your chosen National University campus.

What will the funds raised be used for?

Net proceeds from the event will go towards providing scholarships for deserving students, ensuring that they have access to quality education.

Are there special rates for students?

Yes! NU students can enjoy a special rate of PHP 400 for the 3 KM Student Run, available while slots last. To qualify, registrants must provide a valid student email and accurate student information during registration.

Are pets allowed in the event?

Yes! We offer a special 1 KM Pet Run category for participants who want to run with their dogs. To register, you must provide proof of vaccination dated within the past year. Dogs must be leashed, in good health, and comfortable in crowds to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What Happens if it Rains on Event Day?

The run will continue as scheduled, rain or shine, unless our security team determines that conditions are too dangerous to ensure participant safety. In such cases, the event may be postponed or canceled to minimize risk.

Additionally, the run will not proceed if a government directive is issued to cancel activities due to natural or man-made safety threats. Your safety remains our top priority.

Can I still register on the event day?

There will be no registration on event day.

Can I pick up my race kit on event day?

Yes, you may pick up your race kit on event day, but we strongly discourage it.

Distributing race kits on the day of the event significantly increases the risk of delays, which could result in you not receiving your kit in time to start and finish the run within the allotted time. Considering the large number of participants expected, this risk is high.

We strongly recommend picking up your kit ahead of time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience on race day.

What is the cutoff time?

We will update you and this page with the cutoff times one week and one day before the run. Stay tuned for updates.

Do I need to bring money?

You don’t need to bring money unless you plan to purchase event merchandise, food, or drinks on race day. Registration fees should be paid online during the sign-up process. If you're picking up your race kit or need to make an on-site purchase, please bring cash or a payment method accepted at the venue.

Are there prizes or giveaways for participants?

Yes! Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each category. Stay tuned for more details on what’s in store for our winners!

What if I want to change my race distance?

If you wish to change your race distance, kindly email our support team at event@national-u.edu.ph to inquire if it's still possible. Please note that changing your distance is subject to availability and open slots.

What if my size is wrong? Can I change it?

We do our best to provide the size you ordered. However, if a size runs out, we will allocate the next available larger size from remaining stock. If no larger sizes are available, we will provide any available size.

If you need to inquire about a size change, please email us at event@national-u.edu.ph. While size changes may be difficult before the event, we may be able to accommodate size adjustments after the event if stock is available.

How Do I Authorize Someone to Pick Up My Kit?

To authorize someone to pick up your race kit, simply follow these steps:

  1. Email the event team at event@national-u.edu.ph.
  2. Reply to the email notifying you that your kit is ready for pickup.
  3. State that you are authorizing someone else to pick up your kit, and include the details of the person you're authorizing.
    • The authorized person must already have access to the designated campus.
  4. Attach copies of your ID and the ID of the person you’re authorizing.

When your authorized person picks up the kit, they must present a digital (or hardcopy) version of the reply email, along with their ID, which was also attached in the email.

Are you providing water along the route or at the venue?

We will provide water through hydration stations along the route and at the venue. There are hydration stations at around 1.5 to 2.0 km intervals.

I Belong to Campus A. May I Pick Up My Kit from Campus B?

While it is possible to pick up your kit from Campus B, we recommend authorizing someone else to pick up your kit on your behalf instead. This will help streamline the process and ensure you receive your kit on time.

Where will I leave my things? Is there a baggage counter/keep?

There will be a baggage counter/keep.

Where do I eat?

There are several 24-hour restaurants in the area, and many others will be open towards the tail end of the event. You’ll have plenty of options to grab a bite after the run!

Are there finisher medals for this event?

Thank you for asking. Unfortunately, there will not be finisher medals for this event.

Are students required to run?

It depends on your campus. Kindly check with your school officials.

Is the event open to the public?

Starting January 11, 2025, the event will be open to everyone if registration slots are still available.

Until January 10, registration is a special perk just for the NU community. If you happen to register and aren't part of the community, your registration might not be processed at the special rates available during this period.
